Oil Hose Clamp Alternatives

Not enough room to use a pretty expensive clamp in that location. Do what you gotta do. I use the fuel injection type cliff shows where I can but used the little worm clamps there because of the low clamp profile and difficulty of gettin any tool in that location other than a long screw driver. I don't use them on the inside of the engine. lol

Experience tells me everything on a Norton needs to be easy to remove, because no matter how superior somebody thinks they are mechanically they'll be doing some form of R&R on every fitting eventually unless building a show bike that does not get ridden.

Forgot to mention my gearbox is closer to the engine than it is on a Commando. If I had more room I'd use -AN hardware and PTFE line. Over and out

I&#;m sure surgical tubing would work as well. The point here is that there are options to clamping beyond clamps. I did a lot of research and found the option above to be the most cost effective if starting with nothing.

Inner tubes would be a good option too I think. Back in the day we used to cut inner tubes to make heavy duty rubber bands. Those were used to attach equipment to packs.

The painters tape would work in a pinch.

Make use of what you have, but the twill tape is a good cost effective solution if you don&#;t have anything to start with.

Tansu is the Japanese term for cabinet. In Japanese there is normally a descriptive word used in conjunction with the term tansu that specifies the cabinets use. Much like we say kitchen cabinet.
