You want to secure your boat to the jetty? There are various ways to do this, such as using cleats, eye shackles, cleats or anchor trees. You need someone on the jetty during a manoeuvre to attach the line to the mooring line and cleat. If you have no one ashore, a crew member must jump ashore, ideally in the middle of the boat.
